Once upon a time there was a cricket playing hide and seek in the forest with his friends.
The cricket hid behind a tree where a toad lived. The toad had no friends because he was ugly and fat.
The toad was crying when the cricket arrived, “Why are you crying?” – it asked him.
“I have no friends” – said the poor toad – “Do you want to be my friend?” – said the cricket.

He was very lucky, as this beautiful place was all for him, and he could eat everything he wanted, so actually he was a very big bear.

In the fairy kingdom lived a young girl called Claire who was known as the ugly fairy. She was 17 years old and had been hiding at home all her life because she was ashamed of how she looked.
The ugly fairy only left her house once a month to go to the fairy ceremony, where old fairies shared their knowledge and experience with the rest of the fairies.
