THE KID AND THE STRAY DOG

Short Story written by: Luis Muñoz.

This is the story of Phil, a good kid who is smart and obedient. But he was very sad because his dream was to have a dog to play with but he wasn´t allowed. He was seven years old and adored dogs as well as other animals and that´s why he was sad and unconsolable.

He had asked his parents for a dog a thousand times. He didn´t have brothers or sisters and so felt even more lonely. His parents had refused to buy him a dog because they didn’t like animals.

THE WHEELED SHIP

Short Story written by: Juan Pablo Urcola.

Once upon a time there was a very lazy and grumpy ship that really wished she had wheels. Every afternoon she went to the coast to watch the people on their bicycles riding around the city.

One summer morning, on waking up, she decided that after doing her work as a fisher of the seas, and after being dropped at anchor in the harbour, she would spend the afternoon dreaming of being a rolling “bike-ship”.

MAD NEIGHBOURS

Short Story written by: Rotsen Zerep.

I had always asked why my neighbors never left their house. My parents used to say that they were a bit strange, and that it was better not to talk to them. But I could not control my curiosity. “How can anyone stay always at home without at least going out to to work?”.

I sometimes wondered if they were vampires, because their skin was white, kind of pallid, and I used to see them mostly during the night. I was scared, but not scared enough to not talk to them.

LOVE DROPS (THIRD PART)

Short Story written by: “The Ecologist”

The girl realised that all the rain drops were distributing lots of moral values; generosity, self-confidence, humility, honesty, tolerance, equality, justice, solidarity, respect, love, equity.

She felt like she was inside a bubble, isolated from the world, living in peace in a world where there was no violence, no weapons, no discrimination, no corruption, no pollution, a perfect world.

LOVE DROPS (SECOND PART)

Short Story written by: “The Ecologist”.

The girl´s walk was awesome, she was enjoying nature, contemplating the landscape, the forest, appreciating environmentalism, she felt like she was in a magic place without any negative feelings.

Two more drops touched her face and they were friendship and respect. She realized that she could also learn these values at school.  She could learn the value of respect by respecting her teachers and schoolmates, and by fulfilling her obligations at school such as doing homework and supporting her classmates.
