This story tells the legend of the three blue beetles who walked with the Three Wise Kings every Christmas to help them deliver their gifts to all the girls and boys.

The three blue beetles have a very special power. They can make the three camels walk faster so as to deliver all the gifts on time.

When one of the blue beetles went missing, the three camels became very slow, but when all three blue beetles walked with them, the Three Wise Kings camels were as fast as lightening.

The legend says that one year one of the three beetles was sick and, as you know, if one of the three blue beetles is missing, the three camels are very slow.

That year, the Three Wise Kings became very worried about the children. They tried to make a plan to deliver the gifts on time, but after thinking about it, they couldn´t find a solution, so they decided to make their journey with only two camels.

When the sick beetle found this out, he went to talk to them: “If you only have two camels some kids won´t receive their gifts, You can´t do that. Why don´t you call Santa Claus?”

The Three Wise Kings realised that the little beetle was right, All children had to receive their presents.

So, that year, Santa Claus helped the Three Wise Kings to deliver their gifts, and all the girls and boys in the world received a present.

THE END

The moral of the story: Never give up!

Short Story written by: Gentil

Once upon a time something incredible happened, and it all began with a man was sat on a stone in the middle of a road all alone. He was called Aquiles and he looked very sad. He had no friends and it seemed like nobody cared about him. He had never had a friend.

Neither did he have parents or brothers or sisters, so life for him was very difficult. He thought that nobody would miss him.

But one day he realised that he wasn´t alone. There was a young boy staring at him. The boy was very handsome. Aquiles asked him what he was doing, and the boy said that he was waiting for him. Aquiles, shocked, asked him “But, who are you?”- and the young boy smiled and said:

“Don´t you know who I am? We have been together for years, I am your guardian angel”.

This made Aquiles very happy. The guardian angel stayed with him for the rest of the day trying to make him see that he was not alone and that there were lots of people taking care of him. When the day was over and Aquiles felt better, the guardian angel disappeared.

Now Aquiles was very happy, not sad any more, for he had realised that lots of people around were taking care of him, and he also knew that his friend, the guardian angel would always be with him.

Aquiles finally found out what life meant to him: To make the others happy.

THE END.

Once upon a time there was a tap that was used to wash plates… which is to say he was a tap in a kitchen in a house in the countryside.

He didn’t see people very often, so to entertain himself he learned to speak – but he only ever talked to himself. He would tell himself stories about what his life would be like if people lived in his house.

One day, new owners bought the house – and they had a little daughter called Maria. The little girl didn’t have many friends nearby, for her house was quite far away from the village. So she would amuse herself by playing with the furniture and items in the house, and the thing she most liked to play with was the talking tap.

Maria would turn it on and off constantly to watch the water gush out or drip. The tap was delighted that he was involved in the game, but Maria spent a lot of time playing with him, and there was something about it that worried him…

One day, the tap said to Maria: “Hello Maria, don’t be frightened. I’m a talking tap and I learned to speak a long time ago.” Amazed, Maria went silent. So the tap kept talking: “It’s ok to play, Maria, just not with me. The water I spout is very valuable and we mustn’t waste it.“

And that was when Maria, who was very alarmed to hear the tap talking to her, understood that she shouldn’t play with the water, for wasting water is the stupidest thing in the world.

THE END
