In one kingdom on our planet living in peace and harmony were Snow White and the seven dwarves.

One day, some ruffians appeared and kidnapped Snow White, leaving a note that said:

“Give us 100 million dollars If you want to see Snow White again. Signed: The Evil Witch”

When the seven dwarves arrived home they were very concerned, not just because Snow White had been kidnapped but also because nobody would cook for them, or clean the house while they were working.

So they hastily rushed to the police.  When they arrived they were sent to talk to the team which specialized in combating kidnapping. The team was made up of Little Red Riding Hood, the leader who had mental powers, Cinderella, who was responsible for team organization and computer systems and Pinocchio, who was a ninja expert in martial arts.

During the investigation, Little Red Riding Hood used her mental powers to locate the place where Snow White was locked up.

Cinderella immediately searched for the address of The Evil Witch on the internet, and located her by using a GPS system.

Meanwhile, the Evil Witch was in her castle watching their steps using her magic mirror. When she realized they were on the way to her castle, she sent her loyal assistant, Peter Pan to ambush them with a weapon and some hand grenades.

Luckily, Cinderella used her computer to introduce a virus and published a video showing a car exploding during an ambush. When the evil witch saw it she was very happy as she thought that her plan had worked and so went to relax by taking a bath, feeling very confident.

Luckily, peter Pan failed during the ambush, because “Mobilejustice”; that was the name of their armoured Hummer, had no problem passing the ambush.

When they arrived at the castle, the team couldn’t get inside, because it was closed. So, they asked Pinocchio to climb over a wall and open the door from the inside.

A big battle then started inside. The Evil Witch and her gang were winning little by little. Peter Pan reached them and began a sword battle against the brave Pinocchio. They had built a special trap for him and suddenly he fell into a hole full of termites who wanted to eat him.

Fortunately, Little Red Riding Hood stopped the termites using her mental powers, and when they were about to be defeated, a fast red Ferrari, skidding around the bends, with the music very loud, appeared. Everybody was shocked, because they couldn’t see anybody inside until the door opened and the Seven Dwarves appeared. They began to beat up those who were in the middle of the battle.

Finally, they managed to stop Peter Pan and his henchmen. Pinocchio and Little Red Riding Hood went to catch the witch, who was inside her castle, making herself pretty in front of the mirror and it was a very unpleasant moment for the witch when they arrested her.

Snow White was freed by the specialist team and thanks to the Seven Dwarves help. The team triumphed one more time and achieved their objective – to rescue Snow White.

Once upon a time…

There was a princess called Maggie, she was tall and as white as snow. She had red lips like a rose and her hair was brown. She had light blue eyes and was very nice and kind.

She was in love with a bricklayer called Kevin. He was tall, had brown hair and tanned skin. He was strong, had dark eyes, was kind and he was never angry.

He was also in love with her, but never said anything, unlike Princess Maggie who told the whole kingdom, that is, the whole kingdom except for her dad, because would have been very angry. Her mum knew everything.

One day, Maggie decided to tell her dad, she thought he deserved to know and could not continue to hide the secret from him.

Instead of telling him directly, she prepared a surprise for Kevin. She sent him many flowers made into the shape of the words: “I love you”. He was very happy and went running to the castle. The princess was waiting for him, and they kissed. The father saw them, went up to them and screamed:

– “None of my daughters will be with a bricklayer!”

And separated them.

Maggi said: “It doesn´t matter what he is, everyone is equal, I love him above all. If you loved me, you would let me be with him. Just because someone has more money than another or different surname doesn’t mean that we are different”.

The father went quiet and after a few minutes said:

“Daughter, you are right, I love you and I will allow you to be with him, because I can see that you love each other and that everyone is equal”.

And they lived happily ever after..

Moral of the Short Story for Kids: A name, lifestyle or money doesn’t matter. Everyone is equal.

…The prince knew that the question was really difficult, and thought it was going to take him more than 5 seconds…He made a great effort, and three thousandths of a second before the time finished, he exclaimed:

– “3.838.214!!!”

- “Well done!” – said the voice – “Continue on your way, you just have one question left”

The prince kept walking through the dark corridors, watching out for everything around; suddenly he saw a light shining at the end of the corridor coming from a door, the prince ran to reach the door, but this closed brusquely and sirens were heard, the voice spoke again:

“This is the last question you have a few seconds to solve. You still have one mathematical problem to solve before these walls close in and turn you into a human strainer!…And the question is: If you add 18 to a number and then subtract 53 and the result is multiplied by 3 the final result is 195 ¿What is the first number?”

The prince had never faced a mathematical problem like this. He solved difficult problems, but none like this. His nerves betrayed him, seeing that the pointed walls were closing in to end his life, he  could not concentrate on solving the question.

There were only two centimeters of space left before the mathematical prince would be squashed and begin his long journey to heaven. Suddenly the correct answer came to his mind:

– “100,  number 100!!” – exclaimed the prince.

At that moment, the walls stopped thus saving the prince´s life. He ran towards the exit where his father was waiting.

– “Son” – said King William – “What are you doing coming out this most dangerous mortal trap?”

– “I got lost looking for the park” – said the prince – “And I got in there accidentally. But it was very funny, I almost died in the end, but I knew the answer before the walls stabbed me”.

– “Son” – the king added – If you weren´t spending the whole day shut in your room studying maths, the worst possible end would have happened to you. I apologise for trying to separate you from that activity. Now, you can continue doing what you were doing, if you want”.

– “Yes, dad” – said his son – “I´m going to continue what I was doing: Looking for the way to the park. I have been meditating and I think the best thing is to go out and breath some fresh air. Maths are so useful for people in everyday life, so we don´t have to stop studying it, even if it seems to be the most boring subject in school. But to stay all day shut up in my room, away from the world doing only one thing is not good either.

I understand that it is good to go out, hang out with all kinds of people, especially those of my age. That is why from now on, I am going to study and to have fun at the same time. I´m not going to be shut in the whole day without talking to anyone. I will dedicate the first hours of the day to my school studies and after finishing my homework, I will go out to play with my new friends. Thanks dad”.

The prince was never alone in his room again. When he arrived from school he did his homework and then went out to play with his friends.

And he lived very, very happily for the rest of his life….And that is the end of the story…

In a faraway kingdom there was a prince who really loved maths, he was always solving mathematical problems in his notebook, and never used a mathematical calculator.

One day his father, King Wallace, said:

– “Dear son, you should go out and enjoy our garden and take some fresh air. It´s important to have friends and disconnect by breathing fresh air and by getting to know people. Please don´t spend all day solving mathematical problems in your room.”

-“Ok, but I don´t think I will enjoy it as much as I enjoy maths” – replied the prince.

The prince barely knew his castle, he was always worried about his maths problems and never looked further forward. He had never discovered the world outside his room, the number of corridors and doors and he didn´t know which door led to the back garden. Suddenly he saw a big wooden door at the end of one corridor. “That might be the exit”, he thought, and so he opened the door.

But it wasn´t the correct door. The prince had entered a dark place and he couldn´t see anything. After taking two steps he heard a voice saying:

– “You have just entered the most dangerous crossroads ever. You must solve three problems to get out of here.  If you make a mistake, you will never see daylight again. And the first question is: multiply 489 by 360?”

– “176,040!” – exclaimed the prince.

– “Correct!” – the voice exclaimed – “You can continue”

The prince realized that it was only about mathematical problems so he kept walking from the crossroads, observing everything around until he arrived at a steep cliff that had no exit. The voice said:

-“Now I have three questions for you, a step will appear for each one you solve and then you will be able to cross the cliff to the other side, but if you fail one of them, the steps will disappear and you will fall into the deep chasm and be devoured by snakes and poisonous spiders. And the first question is…How much is 92 divided by 2 minus 4 by 1 by 5 minus 8 by 3?”

The prince thought about it before answering.

After three seconds the prince said: “Two!”

– “You are right!, here is the first step”

The young prince obeyed the voice, who immediately said:

– “The second question: How much is 64 divided by 8 plus 3 by 2 plus 6 by 5 plus 9 divided by 3?

– “61” – said the prince sure of his answer.

-“Correct!” – said the voice, and added – “Walk to the next step and pay attention to the third question…How much is 43.126 multiplied by 89? you have just 5 seconds to solve it”

The prince knew that the question was really difficult, and thought it was going to take him more than 5 seconds…He made a great effort, and three thousandths of a second before the time finished, he exclaimed:

– “3.838.214!!!” ………

The princess was in love with a young man, she always saw him from her high tower. He was really handsome, with dark hair, clear eyes, pallid skin and smiling all the time. He seemed not to have any worries, he was happy.

Apparently, he was a young boy from a village who once carried packages in a wheelbarrow. Although being poor and being a peasant he always worked with a big smile on his face.

– “He seems happy” – the princess would say.

In spite of having everything she wanted the princess was not that happy. And she wondered:

– “Why is that guy so happy? He doesn´t stop smiling, how can that be possible?”

One day, the peasant knocked on the door of the castle where the princess was living. A guard opened the door:

– “What do you want?”

– “I have come to bring food packages to the princess”.

After hearing the conversation the princess went running to the door, because she had ordered those packages so as to be able look at him closely.

– “Are they for me!” – said the princess.

– “Yes. Here they are!”.

The peasant put them on the floor and when he was about to leave, the princess asked him:

– “Can you stay here for a little while?”

– “No, I´m sorry, I have to go home to my wife…” – he replied.

She was very sad. Tears ran non stop down her cheeks.

The next day the peasant´s wife was imprisoned for a crime she hadn´t committed. The young man soon went on to marry the princess. Now she was happy, or that´s what she thought. But the young man, just to please the princess´s desires, never smiled again.

The princess had always got everything she wanted and as always everything was going her own way, but she had to stop being so selfish.

After some time, the princess realized that she had made a big mistake and tried to rectify it. She explained to the peasant that she had imprisoned his wife for love, but that it did not justify anything.

So the princess freed the peasant´s wife from the cell so they could be together again and be happy.

THE END

Moral of the short story: Nobody should think they are better than others just because of their power, or this will cause sadness. Be happy with what you have got and help the others to be happy too.

Once upon a time, there was a princess called Poppy, who lived on an unknown island. The island people were very poor.

Poppy lived in a castle, enjoying her riches and her toys while the others suffered poverty.

One day, an old man went to ask her for food. She replied annoyed:

– “Do you think I have food to spare? Go and look for your own.”

Poppy closed the door really angrily.

She went to bed and look at her feet. She realised that they were swelling up and turning red like a tomato.

The next day the old man visited Poppy again but she chased him out and her feet swelled up even more.

One day a witch came to visit her and said:

– “Your feet are swelling for one reason and that is because you don’t share anything with the others, don´t be ambitious“.

From that day the princess started thinking. She thought and thought about what she had been doing and knew it was bad. As she really did not want to tease anyone, she changed and began to help poor people.

Soon the island was not poor anymore and everybody was happier. They all sang and danced and ate good food and they thanked the princess for her good behaviour.

And that is the end o the story…

Moral of the story: Always be kind.

Once upon a time, there was a very pretty princess who was living in a faraway castle called Yeyland. Her companion animal was a hairy horse, was the king of all horses.

The princess was married with a handsome prince whose pet was a mare, a beautiful mare who wore dresses, heels and jewels.

The horse was in love with the mare, and was always sending her love letters. She sent him delicious chocolates,and cakes in exchange.

One day, the horse sent her the most beautiful letter in the world, saying:

“thank you mare, for everything you give me, I am more proud of you every day, you are what I have always wanted”.

When the princess discovered their love story was disappointed and chased the horse out of the castle. The mare stayed crying really really sad, and became ill.

The princess realized how bad she had been with the horse and went to look for him. After searching for him for a long time found him skinny, baggy eyed, tired and very dirty.

The princess started crying when saw him like that, then hugged him and apologized for been so evil and separated them. Promised him not to do it again.

Brought him back to the castle and let them to stay together. The more was so happy when he appeared and lived happily ever after.

And that is the end of the story…

Once upon a time there was a girl called Chocolate and her parents were knight Merlin and queen Sissi.

They were very happy until one day, the witch Evelyn appeared. They ran away to hide inside the castle, but Evelyn wanted revenge.

Fifteen years later, Chocolate had grown up and it was her birthday. Her parents organized a big party to celebrate it. But when the party finished, Chocolate went outside where Evelyn was hiding and caught her, separating her from her parents.

Her parents were looking for her, but she had disappeared because the witch Evelyn had locked her up in a tower.

Five years later, Marcus; a brave prince went to fight against the evil witch and rescue Chocolate. The prince Marcus beat Evelyn, rescued the pretty princess Chocolate and took her back to the castle with her parents. The good news of the princess coming back home was received with jubilation.

Prince Marcus fell in love with her beauty, and they finally got married and lived happily with the princess´parents, without the horrible memory of the evil witch called Evelyn, because the brave prince had ended up with her bitter and evil existence.

And that is the end of the story…

Once upon a time… there was a girl called Juliet; her eyes were blue, and her hair was long an blond, shiny like the sun. She was living in Breen, a very small town and was working as maid in the castle of the Prince Arthur.

When John´s mother found out did not like it at all, she was against that marriage, and chased Juliet out of the castle. But King Arthur, the prince´s father talked to his wife, Queen Olivia, and convinced her to let them get married and be happy.

They made a big party in Breen castle, And the family lived happily ever after.

ONCE UPON A TIME…

There was a princess living in a castle; the princess was called Evelyn, she loved to play with dolls and pillow fights.

One day she wanted to play with her sisters, Isabella and Susanne; but that day they were punished.

Her parents claimed Evelyn that she could play with her sisters the next day, but the next morning, her sisters had to travel urgently and it will take them a month to come back.

After two weeks, a new family moved into her neighborhood; they went to welcome them, and Evelyn became friend of the girl living beside them, called Jasmine.

One day, they were having a pillow fight when suddenly a blue feather came out of one of the pillows. They shaked it and brilliant sparks appeared. Jasmine said:

– “Evelyn, It seems to be a magic feather”.

-“Where can we check if it´s magic or not?”.

-“Over that flower!” – Said Jasmine pointing to a withered flower.

They approached the flower, Evelyn shaked the feather aiming the flower and suddenly, the flower began to raise, the leaves became beautiful, it was the most beautiful flower they had ever seen.

Isabella a Susanne came after a month. Evelyn and Jasmine told them absolutely everything, and they all became best friends after a few weeks, known as “Nature stars”.
