Lolo used to go to his garden every afternoon, in where he had a pear, an apple tree, a plum tree and a chestnut, but he preferred to sit on the shadow under the vine that his grandfather had sown twenty years ago, and which had lots of bunch of grapes during that season. There he used to wait for his snail friends to come to get their food. He was sometimes flying his kite during summer and imagining he was flying over the city on a magic carpet.

That autumn evening was too hot, the sun was shining in the blue sky, Lolo had the feeling that the afternoon was not going to be like the others. He waited patiently for the snails to come, but they didn´t. When he was about to go home, sad and dejected, two snails appeared walking more slow than usually.

Once upon a time, there were a monkey and a tiger; that tired of doing always the same, went out searching for a place to live . They walked a lot before finding it, it was the most beautiful place they had ever seen. Different mountains, different heights, high, small, with a beautiful green colour of the trees and plants living on the mountains.

They stopped there and the monkey made a hole with his hands and a cave for both of them. Days passed, and they were happy there, looking for food, playing with other animals.

I had always asked why my neighbors were never going out of their house. My parents used to say that were a bit strange, and that it was better not to talk to them. But I could not handle my curiosity. ”How can anyone stay always at home without going out at least to work?”.

I sometimes wondered if they were vampires, because their skin was white, kind of pallid, and I used to see them mostly during the night. I was scared, but not enough for not talking to them.

Peter´s grandma is always telling fantasy and imaginary stories but she claims that are real.

One of peter´s favorite stories was the one of the unicorn; his granny told him that she went once to the river for a walk and there was a beautiful unicorn drinking from the river. She described the unicorn as beautiful and magic, with two big wings and colorful horn; and that he was actually talking with a mermaid who was swimming in the river.
