FRIENDS ADVENTURES

Short Story written by: Cristina Velazquez

Once upon a time, there was a monkey and a tiger; that were tired of always doing the same things and so they set out to find a new place to live . They walked a lot before finding it, but when they did, it was the most beautiful place they had ever seen. The mountains were different and varied in height, some high, some small, and some with a beautiful green colour from the trees and plants living on the mountain side.

They stayed there and the monkey dug a hole with his hands and a cave for both of them. Days passed, and they were very happy there, looking for food and playing with other animals.

Once upon a time there was a very poor, humble and charitable boy, who was alone. He used to walk around the forest helping the animals that lived there, because he had nobody else. His parents and brothers had died in a house fire. This had happened when he was gathering firewood and fruits of the forest, and when he went back home it was too late, the house had burnt to the ground.

Now the kid walked through the forest everyday, picking fruit and plants to eat, dreaming about having a family and a little house so he could stop living in the cold forest.

MAD NEIGHBOURS

Short Story written by: Rotsen Zerep.

I had always asked why my neighbors never left their house. My parents used to say that they were a bit strange, and that it was better not to talk to them. But I could not control my curiosity. “How can anyone stay always at home without at least going out to to work?”.

I sometimes wondered if they were vampires, because their skin was white, kind of pallid, and I used to see them mostly during the night. I was scared, but not scared enough to not talk to them.

LOVE DROPS (THIRD PART)

Short Story written by: “The Ecologist”

The girl realised that all the rain drops were distributing lots of moral values; generosity, self-confidence, humility, honesty, tolerance, equality, justice, solidarity, respect, love, equity.

She felt like she was inside a bubble, isolated from the world, living in peace in a world where there was no violence, no weapons, no discrimination, no corruption, no pollution, a perfect world.

LOVE DROPS (SECOND PART)

Short Story written by: “The Ecologist”.

The girl´s walk was awesome, she was enjoying nature, contemplating the landscape, the forest, appreciating environmentalism, she felt like she was in a magic place without any negative feelings.

Two more drops touched her face and they were friendship and respect. She realized that she could also learn these values at school.  She could learn the value of respect by respecting her teachers and schoolmates, and by fulfilling her obligations at school such as doing homework and supporting her classmates.
