There once was a lemon called Littlelemon who lived in the refrigerator of a Spanish house. This lemon was so sweet that when the family saw it they decided to save it to make a wonderful cake.

Everyone knows me as Glup although my real name is Galish, and for the past twenty years I have been living in Jaipur, India. I live very close to my aunts and uncles, my brother, and my friends, but I am not sure how far it is from where you live.
I have always been very curious to know what other families do for work. So first, to break the ice, I will tell you about the different professions in an elephant family and maybe afterwards you can tell me about what your family does.
Contrary to what most people think, in an elephant family we all have different roles. I, for example, am the diver in the family, and I also happen to be the youngest as I haven’t yet turned twenty one.

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Gustav, who liked to go on the internet a few times per week to see what his friends were up to on the social networks.
One day, while Gustav was surfing the net, by chance, a little boy from China started chatting with him. Gustav was surprised to see that the boy’s facial features were very different from Gustav’s and he couldn’t understand what this boy was writing.
Although Gustav didn’t understand the boy, he wanted to write to him. But Gustav wanted to make sure it was ok first, so he went to ask his parents for permission. Johnny was a very young boy when he started to care for the environment, and to keep his town clean from the litter that others threw on the streets. It all started when Johnny turned 9 and his parents threw a surprise birthday party in his yard for him and for all of his friends.
The parents had set a large table in the yard full of potato chips and other snacks like sandwiches, fruit and vegetables so the children could eat at the party.
When the party was over, Johnny’s father asked him to help clean up the mess. Johnny was surprised to see all the potato chip bags, paper plates and glasses on the ground. Lemon and Orange were two very special kids who had extraordinary parents. Mama grapefruit was a housewife, that is, she was a mum and worked in the house. And Daddy lime… well, what can we say about him? He was a very patient man, with great number of skills. Amongst other things, he was a great cook.
Mama grapefruit had some important errands to run so she would be out of the house until late afternoon. While she was away, she gave all the family members a very important job to do. Once upon a time there was a little bright star. Everyone called her Red because of her particularly bright red color. She was the first star to come out at night, and everyone believed in her. People would look up to the skies and make a wish, and Red, through her special magic, would make every wish come true.
One night, Red received a strange request from a little girl that confused and puzzled her. The little girl wanted a guardian angel. The little star searched all over the universe, but couldn’t find an angel for the little girl. She gave the little girl a best friend, but realised that was not what the girl had requested. It was the first time the little star was unable to make someone’s wish come true.
Once upon a time, there was a 7 year old boy named Mike. One day, as Mike was walking through the playground at school, he found something half buried in the dirt. He took a good look at it but was not able to recognise what the object was.
Mike found a small stick to help him dig up the object, and after a few minutes Mike was able to pull out the object. He finally saw that it was only an old pencil. “Oh, it’s only an old pencil,” he said, disappointed.
He decided to take the pencil with him, even though it hadn’t been a great discovery. The next day, he took the pencil to school without realising that it was no ordinary pencil, the pencil was actually very special. Continue reading…

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She grew up and became ever more beautiful. Her stepmother was very jealous. She couldn’t stand that Snow White was more beautiful than her.
One day she ordered a huntsman to take Snow White to the forest and kill her. But the huntsman was not that cruel and freed her, saying, “Snow White, find somewhere to hide and stay there”.
Snow White was really sad to be wandering around the forest on her own, but she found a little house and went inside. There was nobody inside, only seven tiny beds in one bedroom and she was so tired that she lay down on one of them and fell asleep. When the seven dwarves came home they found Snow White sleeping.
Her stepmother who was actually a witch, found out that Snow White was still alive and was living with the seven dwarves in the woods. She disguised herself as an old woman and went to the woods carrying a poisoned red apple. Continue reading…
