THE PLANE THAT WAS SCARED OF FLYING

Wing was an inexperienced airplane because he was very young. He hadn´t yet made his first flight. He was beautiful and had big wings, but he was different as even though he was fully equipped, he was scared of flying.

LINA AND THE CHICKPEAS

Once upon a time there was a very smart girl called Lina. She lived with her parents in a neighbourhood in Madrid in Spain. Her house was really big with a big garden and a spacious garage where Lina would play and invent new things.

HANNAH THE DREAMING TURTLE

Hannah was a turtle who lived in “Imagination forest”. One day she had a dream that felt real, so she decided to make it real when she woke up.

When her day began, she dressed up as a stone and went to the road that goes to “Calmed lake” and stayed there waiting. Only three people passed by that morning: “Daydream” the squirrel, “Lively” the butterfly and “Explorer” the deer.

THE BEE AND THE FORBIDDEN FLOWER

In a beautiful field of flowers there was a hive of one thousand bees. When Spring was almost over, the Queen bee realised that her descendent, the young Queen bee was ready to accept responsibility for the hive. So now was the moment to transfer the young bee her position. After she had taught the traditions and social behaviour of the group, the old Queen would leave the hive and the young Queen would create a new hive.

One day, the Queen told the other bees of her plan of to transfer her kingdom to the young Queen. The young Queen knew the plan and asked some of them to go with her to create the new hive.

There was a little bee called Nala who saw the opportunity to leave and have new adventures. She had been told about the group of bees (swarm) that were to leave to build a new hive far from there.

Nala, like the others, had received the necesssary instructions on how to respect the queen at the new hive. One of the rules attracted her attention, it was about a big colourful flower with lots of pollen in which it was forbidden to land. Continue reading…

Lemon and Orange were two very special kids who had extraordinary parents.  Mama grapefruit was a housewife, that is, she was a mum and worked in the house.  And Daddy lime… well, what can we say about him? He was a very patient man, with great number of skills. Amongst other things, he was a great cook.

MIKE´S MAGIC PENCIL

Once upon a time, there was a 7 year old boy named Mike.  One day, as Mike was walking through the playground at school, he found something half buried in the dirt.  He took a good look at it but was not able to recognise what the object was.

Mike found a small stick to help him dig up the object, and after a few minutes Mike was able to pull out the object. He finally saw that it was only an old pencil. “Oh, it’s only an old pencil,” he said, disappointed.

He decided to take the pencil with him, even though it hadn’t been a great discovery.  The next day, he took the pencil to school without realising that it was no ordinary pencil, the pencil was actually very special. Continue reading…

PUSS IN BOOTS

Once upon a time, there was a young boy who lived on the street with his cat. He had no money and wore old clothes. He had little to eat and would scavenge in garbage bags for him and his cat.

One day the cat realised that his master couldn´t cope with this situation any more. So he took a pair of boots a hat and a cape, cleaned them and put them on. From that moment, the cat was known as Puss in boots.

Puss in boots went hunting, captured a wild boar and brought it to the King  – “Sir, here is a magnificent wild boar, which belongs to my lord, the Marquis of Carabas, and he told me to offer it to your majesty”. The King was grateful and that night he and his family had roast wild boar for dinner.

The day after, the cat took his boots and went hunting again, and likewise he gave his prey to the King in the name of the Marquis of Carabas. Continue reading…
